Thor Perplies is a New York based Treasury Team Leader for Nonprofit, Life Sciences, Higher Education and Healthcare clients in Citi Commercial Bank, where his team focuses on creating banking and cash management solutions. He joined Citi in 2011 and is currently a Director. Previously he worked in Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions vertical, and before this held various positions in the Gaming, Transportation, and Insurance industries.
Thor holds an MBA from The University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate School of Business, a Post-Bachelor’s in Gender Studies from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Western Washington University. In addition, Thor received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designations.
Outside of the office, Thor is active in the New York arts scene where he holds board positions with the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and a Brooklyn based theater company named “The TEAM.” Thor’s hobbies include theater, collecting art and traveling.
